ATTENDANCE:
This is monitored daily to ensure the children’s safety. The school asks that you notify us before 9.00am if your child is not going to attend for any reason. Please use one of the following methods:
1. Ring 549 0105 from 8.00am.
2. Send an email to admin@katikati.school.nz
3. Send a fax on 549 1605.
4. Text a message to 021 041 5234.
5. Call into the office;
The school will follow up any cases of unexplained absence. Written notes are required following any absence.
NOTES FROM HOME:
Notes from parents or medical certificates are required for any absence from school. We require phone calls notifying us that a child will be absent, but this should be followed up with a note upon the child’s return. If parents require children to leave school for any reason, written permission is requested – e.g. medical or dental treatment. This should be addressed to the class teacher.
