Keikei Pod, otherwise known as Room 8 and 9, have been doing alot of learning this year.

For Art they have created self-portraits. They sketched their faces from a picture and coloured them in and used dye for the background. Don’t they look fantastic!?
And they have been doing haiku poems. A haiku poem consists of three lines. The first line has five syllables, the second line seven syllables and the last line five syllables. Check out their amazing poems below.
They have also been reading the B.F.G by Roald Dahl! Elly also says that after they read a chapter of the B.F.G they work on their must and can do’s. Their must do’s are pepeha, spelling and finishing their haiku poems. Their can do’s were study ladder and drawing pictures.

Sonsi also says that they have been using tally charts to make bar graphs in their learning.

They have been working on pronouncing their ????.

Well done Keikei Pod you’ve achieved a lot!
