Rooms 21 & 22

12/2/2019

In class this week room 21 & 22 have been doing emoji writing. What is emoji writing, you may ask? Well, emoji writing is where you would write a normal story but you replace some of the words with emoji stickers that look as that word describes.

In reading they have been making comic strips about superheroes and evil villains saving/destroying the world. ( For example: Super speed girl, Captain Dog, Come back, Elf man… etc). Also, they have been making paper mache masks to match their super hero/ villain.

In maths they have been learning about money and the animals/people that are on it. After researching they created their own money and added an animal/person of choice.

In art room 21 & 22 have been upcycling cardboard tubes that were to be painted and glued together to represent a Christmas tree. This has been entered into the Katikati Upcycling Christmas Tree competition.
