Book Week in the Senior School

11/13/2018

Last week we have the Scholastic Book Fair at school as part of a fundraiser for our school. To celebrate the Book Fair and Book Week we had some great things happening around the school.
During Morning Tea and Lunch breaks teachers read to the students. Here is Miss Lee telling one of her famous 'Scary Stories!'

We were also lucky enough to have local author Kinsa Hays visit us and talk about the things we need to do to become a published author.
Students were also able to participate in some competitions during the week. There was a competition to design a new book cover for your favourite book and make a bookmark. Congratulations to Sasha from Matakana Pod for winning the bookmark competition and Liam from Kaimai Pod for winning the book cover competition.
