Whangamata netball tournament

On Wednesday 31st  of July the Year 5 and 6 had a Netball Tournament in Whangamata.  All the teams had to be at the school hall by 7:20am so some lovely parents  could drive us. The Year 6 team was one of the first teams to play but lost their game. After the Year 6 team played. The Year 5 had to wait one hour, so we played over the pole. When it was the Year 5 turn to play we tied. After two games of Netball for the Year 5 and four games of Netball for the Year 6, we were all tired. At prize giving the Year 5 were surprised to find out we won our division by one point so we received the trophy! The Year 6’s came third place and Annie and Mercedez got to win a spot prize! The tournament was really fun and tiring. =)
