YEAR 5 & 6 CAMP

9/26/2019

All the Year 5 & 6 students went on camp at Finlay Park. This is what happened.
During camp, the students all participated in fun activities. One of which was the water slide rotation. In this activity the kids would go down both the hydroslide = (extreme) and the blackslide = ( easy ). After that, they would go to the heated pool and relax.
Another activity was  Animal survival this was when all of the kids would be numbered from top to bottom in the food chain. A wild dog being one of the most predatorial. The adults would be labeled as hunter, flood, fire and disease. All of which could take any animals life. Spread across Skull Island would be 8 food stations and the one who gets the most food station would win the game.
One more out of the 6 activities was Go-Karts. Go-Karts was where you had a partner and you hopped in a Go-Kart with a helmet and hand straps. Then one person would drive around a track 2 time then swap over and the other person would have a go. Personally I (Abby) loved the Go-Karts.

All of the students slept in rooms of bunk beds. The girls slept in apartments upstairs above the dining room and the boys slept in cabins around the camp. Some students slept in river cabins.

At camp there were many fun activities. All the students loved camp. Thank you to all the parents that came and thank you to all of the teachers and all the activity leaders.
