Book Week

11/11/2019

This week School Reporters have been interviewing random classes and asking what they have been doing for Book Week.
Rooms 10 and 11 : This week our teacher have been reading a special chapter book to the class.
Room 14 : We have been researching about Roald Dahl and some of his books!
Rooms 21 and 22: We have been reading and writing alternative fairy tales with different settings and endings.
Big thanks to scholastic for sending the school many fun and interesting books as a fundraiser for the school library - 35% of the money raised from selling books goes towards improving the library.
At morning tea and lunchtime, teachers have been reading stories to children in the playground. There have also been lots of fun book-related activities going on.
At the end of the week many kids dressed up - either cultural or as a book character.

nks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your perso nal expe asxrience mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you read asxinxg and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
