We thought Rooms 1 and 2 have been focused and awesome kids!
By School Reporters Ava and Leandre Room 6 have been working very hard on their Art in the past few weeks. Their Diwali art is very cool and they have taken their time colouring and decorating. It seems like they had a lot of fun! They did some beautiful cow and Santa hats that were amazing too! Some children wrote letters to Santa writing what they would like for Christmas. We took our time to admire their beautiful work.

By School Reporters Lenny and Xavier There were lots of different, creative and exciting activities happening around school for the first day of Agricultural Day.
Room 1-4 made gumboots and adorable veggie men. Rooms 9, 10 and 11 made little veggie men out of carrots, potatoes and other vegetables. They also made a cute giraffe and it had cute glasses! Rooms 12&13 made some houses out of card and sand. They also made little pet rocks with little farm animal faces. Room 14 made gumboots with paper flowers glued to them. Rooms 21&22 made balloon animals. This is how they made them: 1. They blew up balloons and tied them shut. 2. Then they got this special glue and newspaper and stuck the newspaper on the balloons and did about 5-6 layers and when they dried, they added one layer of white paper. 3. They painted their balloons the colour of their animals. 4. Once that dried they got their accessories and glued or hot glued them one. And there you have your animals! Rooms 23, 24 and 25 made sand saucers and cardboard animals made out of milk bottles, pipe cleaners, lids and heaps more. They also made little gardens out of blue water and sand with plastic toys and plants. Room 26 made sand saucers with flowers and sand. Room 27 made cupcake animals. They made chickens, roosters, sheep and all of the farm animals. They also did gumboots like all the other rooms. By School Reporters Tresna and Chenoa This year Room 8 has been doing some amazing art for Tongan Language Week and Matariki, as well as with the stories of Little Red Riding Hood and Super Worm.
