Cycle Safety

6/20/2019

This week, year six students will be participated in cycle safety! On Monday 17th June all participants brought in their bikes (or borrowed one!)
In Cycle Safety, you can’t ride on the road until you learn the main routine. Before you signal you have look, lean your bike and hop on. Then you signal, look and start to ride.
Cycle Safety originated from a lady, Iris Thomas. Her son had been badly injured on a bike ending with brain damage. After this she decided to create a system called “ Cycle Safety “ to teach kids how to stay safe on a bike and to ride on the road without any problems.
